I have Open Atrium in use at our church. We just started using it in early June. Currently only 2 committees are using the system as a pilot program. I think the system is great and has potential. Some of the out of the box naming is a bit confusing. We also need to determine what frequency to send notifications, so people don't get over loaded with email and cause the system to lose effectiveness.

Getting people to use the system is a challenge. I will be happy to share any information.

@Jack, I've looked into using Open Atrium. It looks like a phenomenal tool if you have the time and resources to set it up. I'll have to check it out more and see if we can use it here. Thanks!

How about Open Atrium? It's free and installs on your own server. It's got a nice UI too! http://openatrium.com/
